Adolescent Girls and Young Women shouldn't be victims always

Sexual and reproductive health rights education remains a taboo subject within most communities in Sub Saharan Africa. In Cameroon, parents who are supposed to be the first sex educator to their children neglect the importance of this life changing education. Many young girls as portrayed in this video suffer from ignorance and intimidation that makes them make uninformed decisions about their sexuality. The do not develop their full potentials because they drop out of school and begin families when they have nothing to sustain them. This explains their vulnerability and the high prevalence of GBV.  SRHR is a basic human rights. Watch this video of our local reality.
